OML Accepting Board Nominations
For Districts 1, 10 and Towns West
The Board seat representing District 1 on the Oklahoma Municipal League Board of Directors is up for election this year. The Honorable Elaine Carr, Mayor of West Siloam Springs, the current District 1 Board Member, has expressed a desire to continue serving your district if reappointed. More information

The Board seat representing District 10 on the Oklahoma Municipal League Board of Directors is up for election this year. The current District 10 Board Member, has chosen not to seek re-election. More information

The Board seat representing Towns West on the Oklahoma Municipal League Board of Directors is up for election this year. Todd Finley, Mayor of Mooreland, the current Towns West board member, has expressed a desire to continue serving your district if reappointed. More information

These positions will be voted on at the 2019 OML annual business meeting held during the annual conference in Tulsa, Thursday morning, September 19, 2019. Nominations are to be received no later than  Friday, July 26, 2019. 
2019 Gerald Wilkins Award for City Manager of the Year – Call for Nominations
Each year the City Management Association of Oklahoma (CMAO) recognizes a city manager in our state for outstanding performance with the Gerald Wilkins Award. This award honors the late Gerald Wilkins, former Oklahoma Municipal League (OML) President, longtime city manager and municipal advisor to the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.

For the award, CMAO alternates between cities and towns in two population categories: managers of towns of under 15,000 and managers of cities of 15,000 and over.   For the 2019 presentation, we are accepting nominations for managers of towns under 15,000.

The award will be presented during the evening at the OML Awards Banquet during the League’s Annual Conference in Tulsa on Thursday, September 19, 2019.

If you or your staff would like to nominate your City Manager/Town Administrator for consideration of this prestigious award, please click on the following link to review the criteria, complete the form and return it to CMAO no later than July 19, 2019.
