Class 8 Holds Opening Session
OML's Community Leadership Development (CLD) class 8 recently met for their inaugural session in Muskogee. The session was led by Karen Hill, certified trainer and leadership consultant. The goals of the leadership training focused on identifying each person’s various personality traits and how those impact work environments and those you lead; creating a leadership action plan and learning the art of teamwork without using words. Featured Presenter
Brett S. Sharp   is Professor of Public Administration and founding Director of Leadership Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. He served as Employment Manager for the City of Oklahoma City and Agency Services Coordinator for the State of Oklahoma. He is the author and editor of several books including his latest,  Managing in the Public Sector: A Casebook in Ethics and Leadership  (2nd Ed.), and   Oklahoma Government & Politics , now in its 6th Edition.
His research also appears in several major journals including  American Review of Public Administration, Public Integrity , and  Review of Public Personnel Administration.  The Oklahoma Political Science Association recently named him as Scholar of the Year. He is serving as a visiting research professor at Swansea University in Wales. His latest research is in data visualization of administrative reform and policy implications of artificial intelligence.
