OML 25 Years of Service Awards

Deadline December 31, 2024

Each year the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Municipal League recognizes officials and employees of cities and towns who have completed a minimum of 25 years of service.

The honoree names are inscribed in a permanent Honor Roll of Service book at the League's office. In addition, honorees are given a certificate and a lapel pin recognizing their 25 years of service to municipal government. The certificate and pin will be sent to the municipality once the list of names has been received. Honorees who have already received the award are not eligible. More Information

OML Regional Council Meetings

The OML Regional Councils will serve as an Advisory Board to the OML Board of Directors, and will play an important role in our Legislative Efforts. OML wants to have more representation from all of our cities and towns across the State, and to have our members more involved with OML.

This first meeting will be an informational meeting to learn more about the Regional Councils and how they will shape the future of OML. We would love to have each municipality represented on our Regional Councils. If you are interested in the Regional Councils, but have not yet signed up, you are still welcome to attend this first meeting to learn more about the process. More Information

Oklahoma to Host Regional Housing Forums to Address Housing Stability

Housing for Communities, in collaboration with a coalition of statewide partners, is excited to host a series of Regional Housing Forums aimed at addressing Oklahoma’s housing challenges. These forums will convene local officials, community leaders, and housing stakeholders to discuss data and strategies for enhancing housing stability across the state.

Participants will have the opportunity to be the first to access the online 2024 Oklahoma Housing Study, offering the latest data and insights to guide housing decisions. Additionally, attendees will receive technical guidance on utilizing state-supported housing programs to meet Oklahoma’s evolving housing needs.

This course has been approved by the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission for 3 Hours of HOT CE for the 2024 Statewide Housing Needs Assessment Course #1000153 and 1 Hour of FHR CE for the Housing Stability Program Course #1000152. More information and course dates
