OMRI Canada Seal Update Final Reminder

Dear OMRI Listed^® supplier,

As you may recall, in June 2020 OMRI announced that we have updated the OMRI Listed seal design, to simplify use and recognition of the Seal for our suppliers and their customers.

The most significant change has involved the phasing out of the OMRI Canada^® and OMRI USA-Canada^® seals, a process that included a four-year grace period for affected suppliers. All OMRI Listed products, regardless of which standard they are reviewed to, can now bear the universal OMRI Listed seal, pictured below. OMRI also implemented a slight change to the optional wording below the Seal. The new wording refers users directly to OMRI’s website to check product listings and appropriate uses.

The following graphics represent the two options available to you for use on your OMRI Listed products. Note that the optional wording below the seal is also available in additional languages.

If you are currently using a seal that displays the term “OMRI Canada” or “OMRI USA-Canada” on your packaging, please note that you must update your packaging by June 30, 2024. We provide OMRI Seal files for supplier download at OMRI.org/suppliers/omri-listed-seal (you will need to log in to the OMRI website to access this page within the blue Supplier menu).
