The championship and Order of Merit Tour schedule is viewable here.

Registration is also open for Golf Canada's national championships.
Players have a chance to play for Team Saskatchewan at the Canadian events and through quota spots through their performances at the provincial events but you can play in the events if you meet the national golf body's eligibility requirements.
Some important points to consider:
  • The sooner you register, the better chance you have of holding a spot as a back-up in case you do not play well in Saskatchewan events.
  • Your credit card is not processed unless you are entered/accepted into the event.
  • If you direct enter to a Golf Canada event, are accepted and do not play in a Golf Saskatchewan event, you are not eligible to receive the National Athlete Assistance subsidy.
The list and registration details for the national events can be found here.

Six young golfers from across Saskatchewan took part in the 2019 Golf Saskatchewan Easter Camp this year. This from Director of Sport Development, Steve Ryde.

The trip was a huge success! Each day we introduced the "top 20" new rules code for 2019 during breakfast, this helped stimulate the conversation about the changes to the rules in golf. During the week, the players also learned how to prep for tournaments, such as pre shot routines, warmups, time management, mental training,  and of course multiple skills challenges.  We were blessed by mother nature as the week brought sun, and mild wind which our Saskatchewan golfers are used to, with one chilly day with a bit of rain.  A big thank you to the group at Crown Isle as we were treated like kings & queens during our stay. The course was in fantastic shape with long rough, and fast greens! As the McKenzie tour Q-school is at Crown Isle this week. This was a huge reason as to why Golf Saskatchewan chose to visit Crown Isle for the Easter Golf camp, also to support fellow PGA of Canada Professionals, and Golf Canada member facilities. We look forward to planning next years Easter trip!

At Golf Saskatchewan we're constantly trying to generate initiatives to promote the sport among youth.

We're asking member clubs to provide details on their own programs they have in place to generate the next wave of golfers in Saskatchewan.

Contact us at 1.306.975.0834 for details on what we can do to assist your club with potential funding and programs.

Golf Saskatchewan, along with countless supporters are bringing Golf in School kits to schools across the province.

We are asking member clubs to share this program and opportunities with schools in their region.

Read more here about the benefits first hand from a Phys. Ed. teacher in Saskatoon.

We have an abundance of women's golf programs and events scheduled for this year once again.
From June 1 to 11 Ada McKenzie Day's occur at several courses across Saskatchewan to help junior golf and commemorate McKenzie's dedication to the sport.
Canada Day tournaments are slated for July 1 across the province again this season as well as Golf Fore the Cure events that have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for cancer research.
More details and dates of events can be found here.

Do you want to showcase your club champions?

Golf Saskatchewan has a "Club Champions" page that we use to highlight the great year players had on their home tracks.

You can see the page here, there is also a form linked to send to us and we will post your champions!

None of us are likely going to be as fortunate as Taylor Afseth who hit three hole in ones in a 12 day span last season but we want to showcase golfers that do hit that once in a lifetime shot!

If you do hit an ace this season and are a Gold Member, send us your information to cdunham@golfsaskatchewan.org and we will add you to the club!
