RULE CHANGES HEADLINE 2019 SEASON
Significant rules changes are now in effect for the upcoming season. Avid golf fans wold have seen players on the PGA and LPGA already incorporating the alterations. The rules matter, here's a Cole's Notes poster version of the major changes.

GOLD MEMBER BENEFITS AVAILABLE

Golf Canada Gold memberships are now available through our local club or as a public player. Member benefits are plentiful including club mishap insurance, golf cart issues and online scoring features.

Golf Saskatchewan has set our 2019 provincial championship schedule!
  • 101st Women's Amateur, Moon Lake Golf & Country Club, July 3-5
  • 69th Junior Women's & 93rd Junior Men's Championships, Evergreen Golf Club, Nipawin, July 9-11
  • 108th Men's Amateur & 33rd Men's Mid-Amateur Championship, Saskatoon Golf & Country Club, July 16-18
  • 100th Senior Men's & 56th Senior Women's Championship, Royal Regina Golf Club, Aug. 6-8
  • 49th Women's Rosebowl, Lynbrook Golf Club, Moose Jaw, Aug. 21-22
  • 21st Mixed Team Championship, Golf Kenosee, Aug. 24-25

SAGE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

Golf Saskatchewan annually awards a number of scholarships to deserving student candidates who have made major accomplishments in academics, including golf, in Saskatchewan. The scholarships are named for individuals who have made significant contributions to amateur golf in the province.
Golf Saskatchewan also works with Golf Canada to assist young golfers who wish to apply for national scholarships and bursaries through the Golf Canada Foundation.

The deadline to apply is May 5. 

JUNIOR GOLF PROGRAMS

At Golf Saskatchewan we're constantly trying to generate initiatives to promote the sport among youth. 

We're asking member clubs to provide details on their own programs they have in place to generate the next wave of golfers in Saskatchewan.

ROTARY CLUB MASTERS POOL

Big money is up for grabs again if you can pick the best "team" from the 2019 Masters courtesy of the Saskatoon Rotary Club's annual Masters pool. 

All the details are available  here , $5,000 is the first prize!

GOLF IN SCHOOLS

Golf Saskatchewan, along with countless supporters are bringing Golf in School kits to schools across the province. 

We are asking member clubs to share this program and opportunities with schools in their region.

Do you want to showcase your club champions?

Golf Saskatchewan has a "Club Champions" page that we use to highlight the great year players had on their home tracks.

GOLF SASKATCHEWAN AGM

Golf Saskatchewan is hosting their annual general meeting on Saturday, April 6.

The AGM will take place at the site of the 2018 CP Women's Open, the Wascana Golf and Country Club.

The meeting gets underway at 10:30 a.m. Representatives from member clubs are welcome to attend. We will have a complete recap of the meeting on our website following the event. Contact the Golf Saskatchewan office for more details.
