This edition will highlight some of the extensive COVID-19 precautions we're taking to ensure top-notch safety on our job sites.

COVID-19 JOB SITE SAFETY COMPLIANCE PROTOCOL
Project Leader Responsibilities:
·          Comply with all federal and state guidelines, safety requirements and executive orders

Screening Prior to Entering Construction Site:
·          Non-contact temperature check
·          Maintain a daily health log/sign-in sheet for contact-tracing purposes
·          No employee displaying COVID-19 symptoms will be permitted on job site

Ensure Social Distancing on Site:
·          Single entry point
·          6’ separation throughout workday when possible
·          No physical contact with colleagues
·          Breaks and lunches staggered

Job Site Best Practices:
·          No sharing of tools/equipment if possible
·          In the event that tools/equipment must be shared, disinfecting is mandatory before and after each use
·          Disinfect all tools and equipment regularly
·          Workers not feeling well or exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms are to be immediately sent home, tested for COVID-19 prior to re-entry and quarantined for 14 days

PPE:
·          Will be provided to workers
·          Must wear mask or face covering/PPE at all times, no exceptions

Hygiene:
·          Hand-washing for at least 20 seconds
·          Hand sanitizer provided to all employees
·          Disposable gloves where appropriate

Precautions on this project include:

  • Prominent signage displaying our safety plan
  • Hand-washing stations
  • Single-path ingress and egress
  • No re-admittance to job site once off premises for the day
  • Wristbands for all who pass daily health screen/temp check
Employee protocol signage at site entry points
Covered hand-washing and sanitizing stations
RED BANK, NEW JERSEY
Precautions on this project include:

  • Zip wall enclosing work area
  • Single path of ingress/egress, only for entry in AM and exit in PM, protected by Ram Board floor covering
  • Hand-washing station
  • Prominent signage displaying our safety plan
  • Utilization of a lift to move all materials and debris, eliminating the need for interior access throughout the day
A zip wall creates a contained workspace inside the unit
Ram Board is used to designate and protect a single-entry floor path

MONROE TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY
