ONCC Members Get Update on I-490 Project
At the January 11, 2019 ONCC General Meeting, Illinois Toll Highway Authority Chairman Robert Schillerstrom gave members an update on the Illinois Route 490 project.The I-490 Tollway, coupled with the new Illinois Route 390 Tollway, will connect businesses and communities with one of the nation’s busiest airports, transit facilities, major freight transportation hubs, distribution centers and multiple interstate highways including the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) and the Central Tri-State Tollway (I-294).  View Presentation
Airport 201
ONCC members had another educational opportunity with Airport 201, presented at the January 15th Technical Committee Meeting.

Building on the previous Airport 101 workshop, topics covered included runway geometry, airport signage, navigational aids, airport inspections and more. View Presentation
City of Chicago 311 System
The City of Chicago has implemented a new 311 service request system, which includes aircraft noise complaints. The City is aware of issues with the noise complaint feature of the system and is working closely with the Department of Technology staff to resolve the problems.
Fly Quiet Committee Update
The Committee reviewed a runway rotation configuration proposal submitted by a participant.

CDA Consultants gave a presentation on existing vector headings. The presentation highlighted the flight tracks from previous Fly Quiet Reports which show most aircraft within 1 mile of the flight track and up to 7 miles out from the airport. Read More
