Good morning, Christian Anne Smith here:
If I could give one piece of advice, it would be the power using a timer.✨❤️ It removes constant evaluation and is magic!!!
If my house is overwhelming, I set a timer for 20 minutes and just get started on dishes. I don't have to make any more decisions until the timer goes off.
If I am having difficulty in allowing myself to be creative, I set a timer for 20 minutes of sitting down with my art supplies and just making marks. I don't have to make any decisions about whether or not I should be doing it. I just go until the time is up.
If I want to start reading, I set a timer for 20 minutes. I don't have to decide whether or not I want to read. I just read until the timer goes off.
I am always amazed at the power of 20 minutes. ✨❤️
My other variation is one hour timer. I use that for walks. Or other days, any of the above.
