8th Grade Great America Trip

WHERE: Great America

WHEN: Friday, May 26, 2023, 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (approximately).

HOW: Transportation by school bus. Students will be picked up and dropped off at Fletcher.

COST: $47.00 without a season pass and $15.00 with a season pass. Please pay using the form below or make your check payable to Fletcher Middle School. No refunds can be given after Wednesday, May 19, 2023. No Exceptions.

Payment and permission slip should be returned to the Office by Friday, May 12, 2023

8th Grade Promotion Decorating Committee

We need your help to make this event a success! PTA will ask 6th and 7th grade parents to chaperone the party. But, your help is needed in the day or two leading up. Please take a moment to find a task that you can do to help:

Recognition Night is unique to Fletcher, where the Fletcher staff recognizes and celebrates the 8th grade students. The evening includes student speeches and a video for the 8th graders. You don't want to miss it!

No RSVP Required. This event is for 8th grade students and their families only.

8th Grade Promotion Ceremony

Wednesday, May 31st at 5:30 PM

Promotion Ceremony. The 8th Grade Promotion Ceremony will be held at Fletcher campus, with the Promotion Party held immediately afterwards. Ms. Howell, under guidance of the district, is responsible for the 8th grade graduation ceremony.

Volunteer Opportunity for

Rising 9th Graders

DreamCatcher volunteers are matched with a middle school students to be their mentor for the summer, allowing both to develop a close mentoring relationship. Mentor's guide middle schoolers through their schoolwork, serve as role models, and expose their mentee to opportunities beyond middle school.

Our 2023 Summer Program will run June 12th - July 7th at JLS Middle School from 1:05pm - 4:20pm. You may choose the schedule that best fits your availability and needs. Summer applications will close on June 2nd, 2023. You will receive an acceptance email and an invitation to join Sling, our scheduling application, by June 5th, 2023.
