Quarterly, we invite our new members to meet here at the Chamber office where Suzanne and I can share what the Chamber does to support them. It's a good networking opportunity for them as well. Below is Devane/Nautical Bowls, Greta from Bee Strong Blossoms, Ana from Bella's Flock, Brendakay and Sherri from Creative Gals Craft & Sew Emporium, Erica from BRIX Real Estate and Suzanne. We were treated to a Nautical Bowl for our breakfast - tasty!

If you ever have questions about what the Chamber does or could do for you - just ask! We are happy to share and show you how to get the most out of your Chamber membership!

One great way to sponsor that is a win/win, is to be a Razor Flag Sponsor. You get the flag to keep for your marketing purposes and it flies proudly during the event. We have to order them up soon - so give us a call!

Also in need of cornhole teams, so please talk to family and friends! Let's fill the field! $40 per two man team gets them on the bracket for a chance to win a cash prize and each get a mug filled with their beverage of choice!

WHAT A DAY OF INSPIRATION IT WAS!
INSPIRATION, MOTIVATION & EDUCATION

The theater was at capacity and the speakers were top notch! Much was learned, motivation was felt, and networking was happening. All in all - a winning day!
Our final speaker was Cindra Kamphoff who talked about being gritty (purpose, passion, perseverance) and not allowing our fear to stand in the way of our potential.
The 150 seat theater was full of eager listeners. There were three speakers who each spoke for close to an hour.
Above is Greg Anzelc from the I-94 Chamber of Commerce, Amy Valek from JB Group in St. Michael, Speaker Joe Schmitt from Channel 5 and myself. Joe spoke of being a person of impact - about culture, compassion, connections and clarity...about making impressions when not trying to be impressive.
First speaker, Ross Bernstein, was an animated speaker. He spoke of focusing on what you can control despite the disruptors, to be humble, to win with dignity, that building relationships is the key to success. He also spoke of QTL - Quality Time Left - how do we spend it?

Suzanne and I want to thank you for attending the event. It's always great to serve you!
BUSINESS INFORMATION
BUFFALO STRONG ANNIVERSARY - THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY CAN GET INVOLVED

To continue in the efforts of connecting through a caring community and encouraging wellness efforts here, the Buffalo Strong Team is asking that businesses do something the week of February 6th to show their support.

The students at the high school will be emphasizing mental well-being during their RAVE week. If you want to have a speaker, offer some wellness activity, do some community service, host a spa day etc... those are all things that would be appropriate and fun to encourage wellness with your staff or the community.

Our own Culver's will be giving a percentage of their sales to the Buffalo Strong cause on February 9th, so be sure to put that on your calendar now! If you would like to volunteer to man one of the donation buckets for an hour that night - let me know! Always fun!

There will be a showing of a film about anxiety, called Angst. This will be shown in the Bison Room at the high school on February 9th from 6:30-8:30 pm. Registration is required. Go to the Buffalo Strong website for a full list of what is happening in our community www.buffalostrong.care.
