Translation Services

We currently have 2 statewide contracts for Translation services. On-demand In-Person interpreter Service: The Association of Africans Living In Vermont, Contract 37122 provides on demand statewide in-person interpreter services for persons with limited English proficiency who are applying for and/or receiving benefits and services. The contract is available for use by all agencies and departments of the State. Written Translation and Verbal Interpretation Service: Telelanguage Inc., Contract 31184 provides on demand written translation services. This contract can be used by departments and agencies statewide.

Information Technology Retainer Contracts

Earlier this year, OPC in conjunction with Agency of Digital Services (ADS) issued an RFP for all categories for the IT Retainer Contracts. New categories were also added. In the next issue of the Buyer's Buzz News, we will feature the new contracts and categories. As well, we will outline the process on how to use Retainer Contracts. Stay tuned!

LED & Fixtures

We now have three (3) contracts for LED Lamps & Fixtures.  Needham Electric Supply Corp. dba Yankee Electric Supply, Contract 32771 Sonepar Distribution NE Inc, Contract 32772 Walsh Electric Supply Co, Inc, Contract 37366 Our office worked closely with the Buildings and General Services (BGS) Energy Office in developing requirements that best supported state goals to reduce energy consumption.  The new contracts now incorporate product categories as a means of making order selections. This framework provides users with a much broader availability of product options while also expanding the use of this cost/energy-cutting technology.  The contracts also provide for a seamless collaboration with Efficiency Vermont for qualifying energy-efficient lighting equipment, resulting in rebates that further reduce state expenditures for these types of purchases.

Water Vendor Update

The bottled drinking water and dispensers contract with Crystal Rock - DS Services of Americas is fully executed.  There are two (2) points of contact for Contract 36899:
