We don't often get to open our doors to the community - and much has changed since the last time we did. We invite you to stop by on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, between 10am - 2pm, to tour our North Campus programs, inside and outside. We will also have representatives from all RBHA Divisions and programs to share information about services across our organization.

We have many people and organizations to thank for their support, allowing us to provide the most effective, innovative, and comprehensive behavioral health services to those in need in our community.

We look forward to seeing you.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT

CRISIS RECEIVING CENTER

Individual care with a network of support.

We are excited to announce the opening of the new CRISIS RECEIVING CENTER (CRC) at RBHA North Campus. The CRC is co-located with our Withdrawal Management Unit (WMU) in a newly renovated wing of the 1700 Front St. Building.

The CRC is a critical resource for addressing urgent behavioral health needs in our community through short-term crisis stabilization, often avoiding hospitalization or arrest.

RECOVERY MONTH

Hope is real. Recovery is real.

September is National Recovery Month and it is a time to educate, inform, and support everyone struggling with mental illness and substance use - the person, the family, the caregivers, the community.

Recovery Month is a special time to recognize and honor the resilience and strength of those on their journey to better health and wellness.

Follow along and engage with us on social media to help to spread the message of hope.

VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT

We were pleased to host a group of 20 students from Washington and Lee University for an afternoon of learning and service at our Chelsea Hill Campus. The students were part of a program called Volunteer Venture - an elective component of new student orientation facilitated by upper class students. The program is an opportunity for students to learn about poverty, social determinants of health, and racial inequities and an opportunity to contribute through service.

We enjoyed their energy and enthusiasm and are grateful for their work in completing several projects to improve the outdoor space at Chelsea Hill.

It takes bold, brave steps to heal people, families, and communities. Your support helps drive positive change in our community and in the lives of the people we serve.

Please consider a gift to support the programs and services of RBHA and the people receiving those services.

Together, we are fearless.
