THE BLAZE NEWSLETTER
WELCOME BACK
We would like to welcome everyone back. We have lots of information and updates to help you get back up-to-speed as quickly as possible.

We are proud of our CRS teachers for their powerful and positive support of public education and our students. As Dr. Amy Fuller, SUSD Acting Superintendent, shared: the #REDforED movement to increase funding for public education in Arizona has been unprecedented. We all have tremendous respect for our teachers and the difficult choices they have made throughout this process. On Thursday, May 3rd, Governor Ducey signed an Education Budget into law that will provide raises for educators and more money for our classrooms. It may not be everything our educators hoped for, but it  is  a victory and an excellent start.

PLEASE NOTE: The Student Calendar will not be affected. After careful evaluation and legal consultation, SUSD has determined we will not need to add days for any school at any grade level. However, 7th and 8th Grade Students will have a modified schedule for the remainder of the year.

We thank you our CRS Community for your support of our teachers, certified and classified staff. They greatly appreciate it.
