1. FROM THE FCCPTA PRESIDENT
"Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago." -Warren Buffett

Happy New Year! This month we present a ton of information and opportunities for you to pass on to your community. From recruiting for the next leaders of FCCPTA, to applying for a grant, participating in a listening session or town hall, or helping with work of the scholarship committee- all these opportunities truly have the potential to create shade (in a good way) for future FCPS families.

The work we put in today not only benefits us all but those to come. I think about those who worked before us and how we can pay it forward and invite you to do the same and consider how you plant your own seeds!
Take Care,
Kara Jenkins
FCCPTA President
