Students Earn Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy
|
|
The Board of Education #OPSProud spotlight recognized students who received the Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy. Seventy students received this honor for 2022. To earn this honor, students have to take a foreign language for at least three years and pass a proficiency exam in English and another language.

|
Mark Sommer of Jacobs and Omaha Public Schools staff provided an update on the 2018 Phase 2 Bond. The bond continues to be on time and within budget. Due to our district's cost savings, an additional $10 million of work was added. All bond projects are scheduled to wrap up by Spring 2023, including Bluestem Middle School.

Small and Emerging Businesses = $40.3 million

Next Omaha Public Schools Board of Education Meeting
The next regularly scheduled Board Meeting is tentatively scheduled for June 6, 2022. It is tentatively scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Please be aware that meetings in June, July and August 2022 will begin at 6 p.m.
