Dear Marine families,

The mission of MarineParents.com is to provide support, information, and services to recruit and Marine family members and troops over the course of the life-cycle of your recruit or Marine's career in the Corps.

One of the most important terms in the military is OPSEC, or Operational Security. Our philosophy for OPSEC at MarineParents is strict because our military members safety is a top priority. We have made videos with different topics dealing with OPSEC from a Marine's perspective. You can watch these videos through the link in our first article.

Also in this newsletter: get your charity partner bib for the Marine Corps Marathon, sign the pledge to support Gold Star family members, meet our featured Team Marine Parent participant and volunteer, and learn how you can help us serve recovering warriors.

Thank you for supporting our troops!

God bless and Semper Fi!
OPSEC Videos

Our philosophy at Marine Parents in regards to OPSEC is considered more strict than the Marine Corps'. This is to ensure our members are only sharing "need to know" information. If our members stay within our guidelines for OPSEC, they will stay within the Marine Corps guidelines as well.

Stay Healthy While Supporting the Troops!

Team Marine Parents™ is a group of individuals, generally parents, family and friends of Marines, who participate in athletic events nationwide to support our troops. The mission is to raise funds and awareness of the organization's outreach programs.

This year, the 43rd Marine Corps Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018. As a Marine Corps charity partner, Team Marine Parents™ has registered 50 bibs for the October 28th race. If you or someone you know runs marathons, please help us spread the word that we have bibs available.

Luminary Initiative: Sign the Pledge

These dinners are about more than just providing a hot meal to those who have sacrificed so much on our behalf. They're about more than breaking up the monotony of what can be a long and challenging recovery process. They're about more than giving volunteers a chance to meet, interact with, and show support for our service members.

The dinners are about changing the lives of recovering warriors in a positive manner. The dinners let the recovering warriors know that America remembers them; that their sacrifices are appreciated; that they aren't alone. The relationships formed at these dinner tables can be the starting point for the service member to work with the Warrior Support Team during their upcoming reintegration to a civilian lifestyle. You can be part of this healing process.
