OPTU will be having an outing at Lakeside lake on Saturday October 8  The outing will be in conjunction with an earlier AZG&F work party. They have asked us to help with the building of fish habitat to be distributed in the lake. This is similar to the work party we did at Kennedy and Sahuarita lakes. The work party will start at 6:30 AM and projected to end at 10:30. If you can’t make it by 6:30 and can make it later, your help would still be appreciated. Members can fish anytime after the work party. We will have an OPTU outing with  hot dog/brats BBQ starting at noon.  If you are unable to help with the work party you can still come to the outing and BBQ. We will have door prizes, for our members, similar to the prizes at the last OPTU meeting. We will provide water for both events. We have reserved Ramada 6 at Lakeside Lake for our BBQ. We are looking forward to seeing our members at either, or both, of the events. They have trout, bass, and catfish at Lakeside. Bring your fly rod or spinning rod. We have bass flies if you want to fly fish for bass. Should be fun.
Parks and Recreation says no alcohol and no glass containers

Congratulations to the OPTU members who won our door prizes at the September meeting. The door prizes consisted of 2 pocket fly boxes with a dozen + flies in each and a $25 gift certificate to the Dry Creek Outfitters.We will have door prizes at all chapter meetings and outings.
