A Word from the Director:
  June has flown by, we had SBDC at FIU present at our last luncheon of the season back on June 5th and we sent out renewal invoices for the 2019-2020 year. It has been an amazing year and we are excited for the Fall season. We'll be having an after hours networking event again in the Fall, our 3rd Annual Give Thanks Blood Drive at Ocean Reef and Key Largo Chocolates, as well as our 2nd Annual Dog Event. Stay tuned for more details on how you can network and get your business more involved in the 2019-2020 year.

Toastmasters Update:  Peter Raffalski from IBERIABANK won for Best Table Topics speaker at our June 12th meeting and Mary Brady from Ocean Reef Club Sotheby's International Realt y won Best Speaker at our June 26th meeting. She gave an impromptu  speech about being a grandmother and eliminating the word "like" from her grandkids vocabulary when they visited the Reef this past month. Do you say like a lot? The Florida Keys Children's Shelter seeks individuals to work directly with preteens and teens at its Children's Center in the Upper Florida Keys. Starting pay is $15-16 an hour. Some evenings and weekends are required.
