Letter from the Principal

Dear Ocotillo Ridge Families,

Happy December!

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving and created many new memories. At ORE we have so much to be thankful for! Thank you for all of your support with our PTA Fun Run. We raised over $20,000 with your generosity! A huge shout out to our PTA Fun Run Committee and ORE parents who volunteered their time at our Fun Run. It was a blast!

Similarly impressive, our Angel Tree sign up was released on November 14, and in less than 48 hours EVERY single angel was spoken for. The support of the ORE community is unmatched. If you were able to support our Angel Tree, we request that unwrapped Angel gifts be labeled with their Angel number and returned to the front office no later than Monday, December 5th. If you would still like to participate, but didn’t have a chance to sign up, we are accepting Fry’s, Walmart or Target gift cards in $25 (or less) denominations. Thank you again for your generosity to help make the holidays a little brighter for the kids in our community.

We have a busy December at ORE with Quarter 2 Benchmark Testing, musical performances, craft day and more! Please see our important dates and flyer section for more details.

Happy December Mountain Lion Families!!

Thank you for all the wonderful support this Fall! We are beyond grateful for all the donations for the Trunk or Treat, Teacher Luncheon, and Fun Run Fundraiser! We appreciate everyone who participated by donating, sharing fundraiser links, and volunteering for the event!!! Especially our business sponsors, whose sponsorships made it possible to provide all students and staff with a shirt. The students had a blast participating in the Fun Run and those smiling faces looked great in the sea of blue shirts! A very special thank you to our specialists who spent all day with the PTA running Fun Run stations and Mrs. Samuelsen who developed the schedule for the day.

We hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on January 6th, 2023 @ 4pm in the library.
