ORGANIC COMPOSTED GARDEN SOIL
WITH ORGANIC BIOCHAR
AND BIODYNAMIC PREPS 500-508 FOR A HEALTHY GARDEN!
CUSTOMER DAYS:
ALL SATURDAYS IN APRIL
OTHER TIMES AVAILABLE BY APPOINTMENT
Our Specially Blended Composted Garden Soil has a very large array of compost ingredients so you get a nutrient-dense growing medium to give your plants and vegetables a broad mineral and nutrient spectrum, for the biggest, healthiest and fastest growing plants possible! Now with ORGANIC BIOCHAR and RUDOLPH STEINER'S BIODYNAMIC PREPARATIONS 500-508 for the best soil ever! The healthier your soil, the healthier you will be. You won't find bags of soil like this in garden centers. Our soil is alive--rich, black and moist and contains healthy soil microbes, hyphae fungi, beneficial nematodes and all the good stuff to make your plants healthy!
Al
l our ingredients are in their natural state as nature intended good soil to be. We never add ANY ingredients from dumpsters, unknown yard waste, mushroom compost, GMO vegetable waste, restaurant waste, garbage, or medical facility waste. These items may contain toxins, diseases, chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. No cardboard or compostable containers which have no nutritional value and may contain processing chemicals. Every batch is tested for seed-starting and growing on. Our finished product is a 100% nutrient-dense growing medium, not top soil. You can plant straight into it without burn and near 100% germination rate for starting seeds. It is not diluted with other soil or topsoil. For tomatoes that require no spraying or covering and resist diseases, use straight Biodynamic Garden Soil in a 12 inch by 12 inch base for each plant. We have never lost tomatoes to blight or wilt and get an average of 30 days longer season.
NO Damaging Processing! Due to the potential for damaging or killing microbes and earthworms, our garden soil is not subjected to damaging processing, which traditionally includes grinding, screening and/or baking at high temperatures so it can be stored in bags for long periods of time (i.e. dead soil). We mix and turn our soil many times and pick out any debris by hand to treat microbes and earthworms with loving care. We may sometimes miss small debris (sticks, stones, etc.) but we feel this is a happy trade-off to have living soil with happy, healthy microbes. Soil sold in garden centers is dead due to processing and cooking, otherwise it would rot and smell in the bag after being stored for long periods. This is why we request several days' notice so we can provide you with fresh bagged soil. We make every effort to provide the cleanest, healthiest soil possible.
Our family started creating our garden soil in the 1960's and we have grown our own food for health benefits since then, never failing to have a large vegetable garden each year and award-winning flowers and landscaping. We are happy to share our fine Composted Garden Soil and good health with you.

THE BEST 30% Agricultural Vinegar!! HALF-PRICE compared to all other sources we have found which charge $29.99 a gallon plus tax and shipping. OUR PRICE: ONLY $15 a gallon (including tax). Great for garden use but be careful--this spray will kill EVERY plant it hits! Great for cleaning tools.
Just make an appt and bring a one gallon plastic or glass container. We are buying in bulk and passing on the savings to you! After trying EVERY vinegar product on the market with three farms and many residences over decades (home-made and store-bought), this is the best we have found! I LOVE THIS STUFF! Very safe for the environment! White Distilled Vinegar is the most common type of vinegar in American households and is made from grain-based ethanol which is converted to acetic acid and diluted to preferred acidity with water. This type of vinegar is commonly found at supermarkets and hardware stores. White Distilled Vinegar can be used inside and outside of the home for: cooking, canning, pickling, cleaning, laundry, automotive and gardening needs, to name a few.

Clean up the garden in preparation for the season ahead: Remove last year's dead plants, rake back winter mulches, and top-dress beds with compost.
Clean up your walkways and cover with wood chips to stop weeds from sprouting.
After you've finished preparing your beds, plant potatoes, peas, spinach, and other leafy greens as well as beets, turnips, and carrots.
Put up a trellis for tall varieties of peas as soon as they sprout.
Dig, divide, and replant perennials, such as helenium, fall asters, Shasta daisies, chrysanthemums, and phlox.
As soon as the weather settles, plant transplants of pansies, forget-me-nots (
Myosotis spp.), foxglove (
Digitalis spp.), and other cool-weather flowers.
Sow seeds of sweet peas, bachelor's buttons (
Centaurea cyanus), and larkspur (
Consolida ajacis) in flowerbeds.
Start your indoor seeds for potting up in about a month and then hardeing off to plant outside in late May.
