ORH is thankful for the opportunity to help Mission for Haiti to feed the people and children under their influence. Pastor Cherubin and Josué Laguerre have faithfully attempted to provide assistance and encouragement to all in the Jacmel area.
Josue wrote ORH.
"Haiti is facing all kind of challenges which are affecting negatively day to day life of its population. Among these challenges, we count: gangs, violence, kidnapping, no electricity, shortages of gas, high cost of living, famine, etc.
Some of our beloved brothers and sisters and friends from the States like Operations Renewed Hope, Sea Hope and others, always shows love and compassion by sharing with us, Hosanna Ministries, what they receive from donors in order for us to touch the poorest people living in the poorest communities."
Captain Buddy Puryear and Sea Hope form a great ministry making it possible to help those in need with bulk shipments of relief. Buddy wrote to ORH the following.
"Sea Hope delivered about 17,000 pounds of food to Pastor Dieupie Cherubin of Hosanna Baptist Church during the recent trip to Haiti. The pastor will use this food to feed the poor in his congregation and community. Operation Renewed Hope purchased 13,500 pounds of rice which was the vast majority of the food provided."
