On July 20th, 2024, ORH Team Bolivia traveled to Coroico, Bolivia, to work with Missionary Kenneth Ellzey and Pastor Santiago, of Iglesia Bautista De Coroico. Our team was comprised of over 70 volunteers from the US, Peru, and Bolivia.
Over a four-day clinic, Team Bolivia delivered general medical, dental, and optometry care to 1345 patients. People traveled from many locations, and some even slept each night at the clinic site to attend the clinic. The team worked tirelessly exhibiting a wonderful Christ-like spirit constantly. Every patient who came, was given care, and no one was turned away.
As is customary with ORH clinics each person heard a clear presentation of the gospel, and many people responded by placing their faith in Christ. Pastor Santiago said, "We have seen the power of God this week". He told us that the people of this area are usually cold and not very receptive to the gospel. During the evangelism time, many people were broken and in tears while receiving the Gospel.
Pastor Santiago was very grateful for the contacts made through the ORH clinic and excited to follow up each. Please pray for the continued Gospel and medical work of ORH.
