ORR P&P Change -
Submission of NOC 1.23.20

Good morning Family Reunification Providers,

Effective immediately you will no longer need to submit a Notice of Concern for sponsor declining services.  Sponsors will not need to be flagged if they decline services. If a sponsor declines services, then we can note this as a case closure reason, however, please discuss and confirm with your CSS prior to submitting the case closure report.  When completing the case closure report, please remember to include the reason for the case closing in your summary section of the report.

Also, remember that NOC's submitted due to loss of contact should only be submitted for the following reasons:
  • Contact was never established
  • There is a safety concern at the time of lost contact
If you are not sure if a NOC report should be submitted or not, please follow up with your CSS for guidance prior to submitting. Please contact your assigned CSS should you have any questions about this new guidance.

Thank you,
