GROWING IN COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY HOUR FORUM IN APRIL: Old South at the Oscars

Beginning April 11th we will explore one Oscar-nominated film each week through the lens of Christian faith. Come, having seen the movies, and channel your inner Siskel (or Ebert) … or just be prepared for spoilers! We will begin on April 11th with "Soul", the animated story of a middle school music teacher, who seeks to reunite his soul and his body after they are accidentally separated, just before his big break as a jazz musician. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT
LAST SUNDAY AT OLD SOUTH

“Judas’story is uncomfortable--not because he is the culprit, but because he is a mirror. A mirror image of humanity: a life filled with hopes dashed, despair, and mistakes; a life filled with end of the ropes moments and an often willingness to betray our values when life doesn't go our way. And still, despite it all: God extends boundless love and welcome to us all; nothing, no human failing, no mistake, no scar, nothing can separate us from God’s love."
Watch the video to hear Acting Associate Minister Shawn M. Fiedler preach Failed.
