HOLY WEEK 2023
PALM SUNDAY April 2nd, 9:00am and 11:00am
We mark Jesus’ triumphal entrance into Jerusalem as our shouts of Hosanna begin to give way to the drama of the coming week.
MAUNDY THURSDAY - Service of Tenebrae April 6th, 7:00pm
The service of Tenebrae (Latin for "shadows") tells the story of Jesus’ last days. Led by the Willie Sordillo Ensemble, we journey from the Communion Table to the Cross as the light around us dims. This service will be both in-person and live streamed.
GOOD FRIDAY April 7th
Service of Seven Words from the Cross 12 Noon
On the most solemn day of the Christian year, we gather in prayer and song to listen to Christ's last words, and reflect on the death that changed the world.
Choral Service 7 p.m.
Theodore Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ is a gripping account of Christ’s death on the cross. Weaving together ancient texts with arch-Romantic music, Dubois’ setting of the passion narrative is among the most beloved tellings of the ancient story, and is sure to provoke new insights into the nature of Christ’s suffering and sacrifice.
EASTER SUNDAY April 9th, Identical Services at 9:00am and 11:00am
The triumph of the Christian story of resurrection informs a service of worship that will overflow with joyous music. Children's Worship will meet for a portion of both services.

PASTORAL TRANSITION NEWS | |
Read the full report at
We have extended written invitations to the small group of candidates who have accepted the opportunity for deeper engagement with us. Each will join us for a day and a half of exercises including small and larger group meals, Bible study, a hands on experience with our unhoused neighbors, an exercise that engages our church staff in planning worship, reflection with church staff on our budget and use of our building, an extended interview with the Search Committee, and an opportunity to close the experience with us in a small informal vespers service. We anticipate that we will have had the opportunity to meet all of our candidates by mid May and anticipate a continued process of discernment following these in-person experiences.
