OLD SOUTH REOPENING PLAN
Starting on Sunday, July 4th and going through Sunday, September 5th you are invited to worship with us either in person (in our air-conditioned Chapel) or remotely (from wherever you are). In either case, whether you are in the Chapel, on your couch, or at the beach, we will all watch the same pre-recorded, edited worship services (what you have been used to for the past fifteen months). In other words, those who attend in person will participate in a "watch party" (via a screen and projector). You can still use the chat feature to communicate with the other worshippers, and you can greet old friends and newcomers in person. Click here for more information on our reopening.
ANNOUNCING SUMMER MARSH AS PRESCHOOL DIRECTOR
Following up on the news of Carolyn Davis's planned retirement after 40 years, we are pleased to announce that Summer Marsh will be the next Director of Old South Preschool! Summer and Carolyn will work together this summer to ensure a smooth transition. We have been very fortunate to have Summer as a teacher at Old South Preschool for the past 19 years, and we are very excited for her to have the opportunity to express her love, gifts and vision as the new director! The Old South Preschool is in good hands.
We expect an in-person celebration for Carolyn will take place in 2022.

OSC SUMMER COVID-DEBRIEF SMALL GROUP

It has been an incredibly difficult year. Join us as we listen and share together about our experiences to help us reemerge stronger and healthier as individuals. This confidential and affirming small group will provide space for our COVID-driven feelings and reactions to be aired, unpacked and reconciled with our “new” world. The group will be convened by chaplain Karin Wetmore and meet midweek in person at Old South Church in Boston. Gatherings will be for an 8-week period, from approximately June 15/16 to August 10/11
(not including the week of July 4), and will abide by the church’s guidelines for creating safe community. To join or for more information, contact [email protected].
