Outreach Trainers Need Approval to Offer Online Classes
Outreach Trainers who are planning to teach OSHA 10- or 30-hour classes remotely (via Zoom, etc.) are required to get an exception approved, according to Outreach Training Program Requirements. Please don’t assume you can teach a class online WITHOUT permission.

We are helping many Outreach Trainers with the approval process, and we are happy to provide guidance and answer any questions. Contact Addie Hosier at ahosier@clpccd.org .

Outreach Trainers Granted 3 Month Extension to Renew Authorization Due to Unavailability of In-person Classes
If your Outreach Trainer authorization is set to expire during this current shutdown period when in-person renewal classes are unavailable, you have been granted an extension of 3 months from the time in-person classes are rescheduled to renew your authorization.

Example: your Outreach Trainer authorization expires in May, but no in-person renewal classes are scheduled until June. In this case, you have until 3 months after the first in-person renewal class is scheduled in June to renew your trainer authorization.

If you have any questions, contact Addie Hosier at ahosier@clpccd.org .
