OSL Confirmation
Our OSL Confirmation team is committed to providing opportunities for youth to learn about God as well as helping them to take ownership of their faith. This year due to Covid-19, we have the additional responsibility of doing so in a way that meets CDC guidelines while also ensuring that all students will have access to our program. For this reason, we will begin our 2020-2021 confirmation program virtually using Zoom.

  • 6th-grade Confirmation orientation on Wed, Sept 9, at 6 pm on Zoom
  • 6-8th grade Confirmation begins Wed, Sept 16, at 6 pm on Zoom.
Registration for Confirmation is open
Please register your student each year so that we have up to date information in our database and so that we can reach you with important information.
This registration ensures that you will receive all essential confirmation communications.
New Confirmation Program
With Sami’s move to Spain, the Director of Youth Ministry (John) has taken on the responsibility of planning confirmation. With the help of Pastor Randy, we have selected the a new curriculum that will meet the needs of our confirmands while keeping in place the same program set up of years past.
  • Confirmation takes place from 6-7:15 pm on Wednesdays
  • We will continue with the large group/mentor group format
  • We will continue elective weeks in January, service project weeks in February, and other special events throughout the year.
  • Students will continue to turn in worship notes
  • Student worship leadership will also continue to be a component. However, we will not begin these opportunities until such a time as we can be confident that all students can participate safely.
  • See your upcoming Confirmation mailer for additional details about expecations and our new confirmation curriculum.
