A Message from Pastor Sell

“Come, everyone who thirsts,
come to the waters;
and he who has no money,
come, buy and eat!
Come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price."
(ESV, Isaiah 55:1)

As people begin to scramble and prepare for the upcoming school year we are reminded from God's Word how our Lord looks after us and provides for all that we have and need for this body and life. Isaiah tells us that if we thirst, we go to the waters of life and the Lord's Word quenches our thirst. We don't have to cough up a dime, His water is free. So drink until you are satisfied.

No money? Well, then, come and buy and eat because the Lord's eternal bread of life is without price. Salvation's banquet is ready and was prepared by God through the work of Jesus Christ. The feast is ready and well prepared. He invites you to come to His table and enjoy His steadfast love and mercy. God has paid the price and bought your soul so that you might eat and drink.

In turn, we give thanks to the Lord who does great wonders, for His steadfast love endures forever (Psalm 136).

In Christ,
Pr. Mark Sell
An Update from the Hart family
Dear Our Savior Lutheran family,

Thank you so much for your support of Sarah and I during these past two years. We have been richly blessed by your support of us and your constant joy in raising us up as we begin our ministries in the church. From day one, you welcomed us into the family at Our Savior with open arms, and we could not have imagined a better two years serving at OSL. Thank you also for the financial support you have given us as we depart for vicarage this year. God has truly blessed Sarah and I through your support and your constant love and encouragement. We will dearly miss you and look forward to returning in a year and seeing you all again!
Also, our updated address is 714 Maple St, Antigo, WI 54409
Blessings in Christ,

Erik & Sarah Hart.

P.S. We just found out that our baby is a boy! He’ll be about six months old when you see him! Praise God, for He is good!
An Update from Our Savior Lutheran School

New teachers include Mrs. Hope Mehl and Ms. Lisa Otten. Mrs. Mehl and her husband, Tim, arrived back to the U.S. from Taiwan earlier this month. She has been working remotely, preparing to teach junior high, as she isolates for 14 days. Tim will be starting at the seminary this fall. Ms. Otten, a recent graduate from Maryville University and OSL alumnus, will be teaching pre-kindergarten. We are, at the time this article is being written, interviewing candidates for our second preschool 2s classroom teacher.

With safety protocol in place, we will make every effort to continue with the high quality of academics in our Christ-centered environment while focusing energy on keeping our families as safe and healthy as possible.

With economic challenges, we do need your help with tuition assistance. Please help us increase our OSL Tuition Assistance fund so that the families that continue to want their children at OSL can afford to do so. Our goal is to collect $6000. You can add your donation to your church offering, making note of the added amount for "OSL Tuition Assistance" or you can send a check to the school office with that noted. Any amount you are able to give will be such a blessing to the families in need! Thank you for your continued support.
