Ohio STEM Learning Network

Classroom Grants Opens July 29

Over the past four years, the Ohio STEM Learning Network’s Classroom Grants have empowered more than 855 educators with $3.9 million in funding to spark innovative STEM learning across the state.

Now it’s your turn.

Starting July 29, applications reopen for 2025. Grants range from $2,500 to $5,000 for creative, sustainable STEM projects that build real skills — curiosity, problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurial thinking — and connect students to real-world careers.

Key dates:

📅 Applications open: July 29, 2025

⏳ Deadline: September 2, 2025

Who can apply:

K–12 educators in Ohio’s public, charter, or independent STEM schools.

Principals & Teachers — start planning now:

  • What STEM programs could this grant help you build or expand?

  • What real-world problems could your classroom help solve?

Priority consideration will be given to projects with real-world partnerships and community learning experiences connecting classroom learning to local needs. For more detail, see Ohio's STEM and STEAM Designation Rubric, which guides the development of STEM schools.
