OSP Change to Technical Reporting Notification Process
Effective January 29, 2020, OSP will no longer be emailing notification/reminders to PIs for reports due. The report due notification will be done via Award Task Reminders in Workday. You will receive weekly Award Task Reminder Notifications in Workday for any tasks that are overdue or coming due within the next 90 days. PIs will be responsible for uploading their reports into Workday. Click Here for the Workday Job Aid.
In order to receive automatic emails from Workday regarding tasks that are due or upcoming, you must change your “Manage Email Preferences”.
If you feel there is a discrepancy with the reporting due dates, please email OSP@unlv.edu or contact Leslie Wideman-Henry for assistance.
NSHE Workday Grants PI Course
NSHE Workday Grants Principal Investigator (PI) Course
NSHE is offering a 2.5 hour Workday Grants course for Principal Investigators (PIs). Workday training includes:
The Leukemia Research Foundation exclusively funds New Investigators - individuals beginning to establish their own laboratories that are no longer under the tutelage of a senior scientist mentor. It is difficult for them to get the level of funding they need at this critical point in their careers.
The Leukemia Research Foundation is unique in the level of support it provides to highly promising scientists in this absolutely critical research niche. Providing one year grants to selected New Investigator researchers allows innovative scientists to act on their ideas, and try new procedures and experiments that will hopefully lead to significant breakthroughs. The primary mission of the LRF is to fund research into the causes of and cures for blood cancers (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma) and providing $100,000 annual grants to New Investigators is critically important.
