Join us in congratulating OSPs Stephanie Page, Associate Director for Pre Award. Stephanie recently announced her retirement, effective 1/3/2023. Her last day on campus will be December 21, 2022.
We'd like to thank Stephanie for everything she has done to elevate the outstanding service to faculty and staff with proposal development and submissions she and her staff provide for OSP's pre award team. She has been a remarkable and incredibly knowledgeable leader. She will be a tough act to follow.
She was initially introduced to research administration at Oak Ridge Associated Universities where she was involved in several DOE funded nationwide projects. After relocating to Las Vegas, she obtained a position with UNR as a project manager for a HRSA grant and in 2008 she joined UNLV OSP to work in Pre-Award. In 2015 an opportunity arose and Stephanie left UNLV briefly to experience working at a private university in a one-person grant office. Missing the research intensity that UNLV had to offer, she returned to UNLV in 2019. Under her leadership, Stephanie advanced the OSP with her extensive years of core knowledge in research administration and left a tremendous imprint for years to come. The Associate Director position will be posted and until filled, Michele Padilla will be assisting pre-award services in the interim.
Congratulations Stephanie, you will be missed.
