Create-Away Quilt and Craft Weekend!
What:  Enjoy creative time and space in an inspiring and well-lit environment. This “instructor-free” weekend retreat is designed for quilters and other crafters who want a quiet weekend to work on personal projects. The center will provide table space and ironing boards for quilters. Fee is $175, including meals and accommodations.

Bethany Arts Community “ART IS COMMUNITY” 2nd Annual Fundraiser
What: Join Bethany Arts Community for our “ART IS COMMUNITY” 2nd Annual Fundraiser. Enjoy an entertaining evening with great food, cocktails, music, art creators, performance and numerous silent auction items including original art! It’s been an exciting second year of providing meaningful arts programming to our community. We were able to expand the amount of programs nearly twofold introducing new workshops in drawing, painting, mosaics, jewelry making and art history classes. There have been multiple exhibits, new sculpture installations, dance, music, summer camp, theater and our first signature residency program and the list goes on!! Your support is greatly appreciated.

How to Bounce Back
What: Have fun exploring how laughter, nature and movement can help you bounce back into a state of well-being that helps you move forward. The workshop will be infused with experiencing mindfulness towards the healing qualities of laughter yoga, nature and physical movement. There is a meditative, creative component at the end, this helps to create a moment to take home with you for continued inspiration. Fee is $25.

Quilt and Craft Market
What: Come to Shop and Learn! The  Quilt and Craft Market  will offer a variety of quilted and handcrafted items for sale, ideal for holidays, special occasions, and housewarming gifts. A Music Festival!
What:  A musical festival to benefit the BCC Music Scholarship Fund Fund in assisting young talented musicians with their music education and career.

Info:  The festival will feature three choirs and three scholarship recipients. The choirs include the Briarcliff Congregational Church Choir, Old Mill Singers Breve , and The Northern Westchester Chinese Chorus. The soloists include two violinists from the Julliard School, Elaine He and Njioma Grevious, and a sopranos Charlotte Luttkus who grew up in Briarcliff and is currently a vocal performance major at University of Florida in Tallahassee. The admission is free, but a free-will donation is appreciated.  This program is open to the community.  All are welcome.

What:  Calling all Westchester musicians! You're all invited to join us for the very first Sunday night open jam at SSKB. Open Mic Night @ Sing Sing Kill Brewery
What:  Join us for Open Mic Night, hosted by the amazing Jess Erick! Signs-ups start at 6:15, and the open mic runs from 7-9pm. Musicians, comedians, poets, storytellers, musicians, and performers of all kinds welcome! We do not have any house instruments, but we have microphones and hookups to our PA system. Ossining's Thanksgiving Dinner
What: THANKSGIVING DINNER - for the 34rd year, the Ossining Presbyterian Church, 34 South Highland Avenue (opposite the Ossining High School) will be the scene of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner party. Everyone is invited! Last year, more than 200 meals were served, some of which were delivered to home-bound folks.
When: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28 at noon.
Where: Presbyterian Church, 34 S. Highland Avenue, opposite the Ossining High School.
Info: The menu is home-made traditional, with the highlight being roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, and yummy apple and pumpkin pies. The Scarborough Presbyterian Church, The Briarcliff Congregational Church, and The Ossining Presbyterian Church work together to make this happen and many community friends pitch in to help. No charge for the meal - just come!

Ossining’s Museum in the Streets (MITS)
What: MITS is a free, self-guided walking tour and consists of 25 numbered panels with images and explanatory text about the architecturally and historically significant buildings within the Downtown Ossining Historic District. 
When: On a 24/7 basis
Where: The tour starting point is located on the north side of the Ossining Open Door Medical Center at 247 Main St. in Downtown Ossining. However visitors one can also begin at any of the numbered panels and take as few or as many panels as desired.

Green Ossining Launches ‘Green Ossining Sustainability Partnership
Toys for Tots will have a drop off location at Village Hall from November 1 - December 16, 2019.
The donation box will be located inside the Clerk's office on the first floor @ 16 Croton Ave.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity is the fund raising, funding and support organization for the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

Ossining Food Pantry:Asking for Your Support
What: Recently furloughed or laid-off? Having trouble making ends meet? We know it's been a difficult year. The Ossining Food Pantry is here to help residents of Ossining and Briarcliff Manor. We are a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping our neighbors in need. If you and your family are in need of food assistance, please visit with our friendly volunteers at Trinity Church in downtown Ossining (7 South Highland Avenue.) We distribute non-perishable food items on Thursday evenings (6:30-8:00PM) and Friday mornings (10:00AM-Noon.) We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. **Please consider making an on-line donation to help Ossining Food Pantry feed our neighbors in need. A one-time or reoccurring monthly donation will be greatly appreciated. We are 100% volunteer organization. Virtually all of your donation will go toward the cost of food for the needy.

What: The Ossining Athletic Booster Club is a not-for-profit volunteer organization established in 2001 to promote the athletic programs of the Ossining School District, recognize their achievements, and support Ossining's student-athletes and coaches by funding items not in the school budget and awarding scholarships to worthy graduating seniors of Ossining Athletic Booster Club members and donors.

Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail: A Walk Through Ossining’s History
What: What do Sonny Sharrock, Benjamin Brandreth and Ida Foshay have in common? They are all on the Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail, a free, self-guided tour through Ossining’s historic Dale Cemetery. A project of the Ossining Historic Cemeteries Conservancy, the trail features the stories of prominent individuals and families, as well as those who played a role in everyday Ossining life.Trail Maps are available at trailhead signs located at the cemetery entrances.

The Healing Circle: Relax, Restore, and Return to Balance
What: Join us in a Circle for a Restorative Healing Touch and Reiki Healing. This is a subtle healing practice that supports body, mind, and spirit, prompts an overall calming, balancing, and healing response that enhances health and well-being. Those new to Healing Touch and/or Reiki will receive an individual or group energy healing. Healing Touch and Reiki practitioners will participate in Healing Touch and Reiki exchanges.

Fall Youth Music Program for Kids 4-17
What: The Youth Music Program provides small group lessons for kids (ages 4-17) in singing, drumming and guitar, and instruction in how to practice, how to audition and in etiquette for performance – plus snacks and supervised play. The Youth Music Program is for the benefit of children from the community at large. It does not include religious content.
