Dog License Renewal
You can now renew your dog license online by clicking here  (a $1.75 convenience fee will be added to to use this service).

Please keep in mind that this is a renewal system. If you are licensing a new dog, you will need to come to the Town Clerk's office to present a valid rabies certificate and fill out an application or submit an application via mail, which can be found on the Village's website .

The Village of Ossining is pleased to offer the Toilet Replacement Program to qualified property owners. Participants receive a $200 voucher towards the purchase of a new EPA WaterSense®-labeled high-efficiency toilet purchased through the program. Click here for more information.

Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company
What:  Coming this Saturday, a chance to dance with the world renowned at the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company. This is a rare opportunity to work closely with a master of post-modern dance, a man who has received every award available to him, who believes in the world of ideas and wants to find out what Ossining’s community can bring to the project.

The Ossining Summer Recreation Basketball League for grades 6 th -8 th is an Ossining summer tradition. Participants will be placed on teams and will play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the summer. Evaluations and team selections will be held on June 27 th . Click here for registration
The Cedar Lane Art Center is offering an array of programs this summer for adults and kids. Instructor Cathy Carabee-Faiella is offering many half day classes for kids over the summer including a popular Clay and More Class.

What: For the fourth year, the Town of Ossining is partnering with Open Door Family Medical Center for Mind, Body, Spirit – Ossining – FREE fitness and wellness classes hosted by local businesses and open to the public on weekends in Town and Village parks and open spaces. This week, boost your self-confidence with SharQui, the Belly Dance workout with SharQui Instructor Solarah Delphi. Registration is not required, but encouraged. Register in advance to qualify for raffles and giveaways from participating businesses.

This week the farmers market will groove to music by DJ Johnny G and we’ll host coffee with cop from 9:30-11:30am. Bring your questions and community concerns and have a chat with officers from the Ossining Police Department. Flowered Farm will be back with bunches and bouquets grown in Tilson, NY and Deep Roots Farm will join the market with Certified Organic produce. Arlotta Food Studio will bring organic, kosher California olive oil, Nahmias et Fils Distillery will bring NY-made Mahia and whiskey and the ice cream truck will roll in for the day! Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) Acting Classes Summer Semester
What: Improvisation for Theater and for Fun with Jim Brownold is a class designed to help experienced actors, new actors and non-actors trust their instinctive creativity through a fun and inventive avenue of expression. Scene and Monologue Study, a deeper study of the craft of acting designed for intermediate and advanced actors, is taught by actor and director Bob Rogerson. Rogerson, who holds a master’s degree in classical acting, has taught at university and professional levels for many years. His popular classes offer tailored individuated instruction, addressing specific issues based on each actor’s strengths and needs.

An Evening with Douglas Brinkley
What: Best-selling author Douglas Brinkley will be discussing his newest book, American Moonshot: John F. Kennedy and the Great Space Race, at the library's Bob Minzesheimer Author Series. Alexis Cole’s Canary in Combat Boots: Memoir of a Jazz Diva in the Army
What: The Westchester Collaborative Theater presents vocalist Alexis Cole in her new show Canary in Combat Boots: Memoir of a Jazz Diva in the Army featuring accomplished musicians Jim Ridl on piano and David Finck on bass. Cole’s one woman show reflects her unique perspective as she went through Army Basic Training in 2009. Equal parts harrowing and humorous, she hurls herself headlong into an entirely foreign experience and culture, and reports back to her fans weekly through handwritten notes from the front lines. We glimpse into those notes and see her struggle to survive.

FREE Community Dance Project with Bill T Jones/Arnie Zane Company & Bethany Arts Community
What: The world renowned Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company will be in residence at Bethany during the month of June. Summer Music Camp at St. Paul’s on the Hill
What:  Our program provides small group music lessons for children (between the ages of 4 and 17) in: SINGING, KEYBOARD, DRUMS, DANCE, and GUITAR. The program serves young people from the community as a whole and does not include religious content.

Theater O’s The Camp of Witchcraft and Wizardry 
What:  The Camp of Witchcraft and Wizardry will return in July 2019! Housed on the beautiful Bethany Arts Community Campus in Ossining, NY, The Camp is open to muggles ages 8-14. Staffed by Theater O, the camp explores the magical world through theater, art, music, puppetry, storytelling, games and more. It is for fans of  The Boy Who Lived as well as all things fantastical and magical! Campers are sorted into houses, participate in a House Cup Competition complete with Tri-Wizard Challenges in the Forbidden Forest, daily quidditch matches (and, of course, a Quidditch Cup!) all with an artistic bent. This creative program will run for four weeks and campers can attend one, two, three or all four weeks. 10% off each additional week and a 10% off sibling discount. Don’t let this adventure get away!

Theater O’s Fairy Tale Theater Camp
What: Fairy Tale Theater Camp, brand new this year, is for 3- to 5-year-old youngsters with big imaginations. This is a camp where beloved books will come alive. Each week will focus on a different children’s author (Eric Carle, Mo Willems and Maurice Sendak) with a different book each day. Campers will create crafts, learn songs and participate in movement exercises that tie in with the book of the day and they will act out a story written by the week’s author, making full use of the extensive Theater O costume and prop collection. This camp is all about make-believe, telling stories and using our bodies, voices and imaginations! This original program will run for three weeks, Monday through Friday from 9am to 12noon at Theater O. Campers can attend one, two or all three weeks. Early bird pricing before April 1st.

What: The popular “Summer Music Series” continues with a performance by singer-songwriter Greg Connors. Greg’s diverse influences include the Pixies, Bob Dylan, Radiohead, and Elmore James. His trademark simple guitar licks and detached alienated, lonely voice are coupled with a scary command of the English language. He is the Howard Finster of music, painting vivid abstract images with his words and guitar. Join us for an evening of music on the shore of the Hudson River. Disney Cinderella Kids One Week Summer Musical Theater Workshop
What: Your child can star in Disney Cinderella Kids this summer as a part of our one week Cinderella Kids Summer Musical Theater Workshop. Elementary, middle and high school students are welcome to enroll. Participants also receive basic vocal, acting and movement instruction. Other fun activities include art, sports, theme days and a pizza party. There will be two performances of this classic musical at the end of the week. Tickets to the show are free. $599 for the week.

Theater O’s August Show Camp, Alice in Wonderland 
What: August Show Camp is open to school-aged children who want to be in a production! This one-week camp is all about the play Alice in Wonderland. Everyone who attends the camp will be in the show! There are no auditions, casting will be determined by the artistic director before camp begins. Located at Bethany Arts Community, inside and outside time will focus on rehearsals, theater classes, arts and crafts. Performances of Alice in Wonderland will be held at BAC on August 23 and 24. Ossining’s Museum in the Streets (MITS)
What: MITS is a free, self-guided walking tour and consists of 25 numbered panels with images and explanatory text about the architecturally and historically significant buildings within the Downtown Ossining Historic District. 
When: On a 24/7 basis
Where: The tour starting point is located on the north side of the Ossining Open Door Medical Center at 247 Main St. in Downtown Ossining. However visitors one can also begin at any of the numbered panels and take as few or as many panels as desired.

What:  Recently furloughed or laid-off? Having trouble making ends meet? We know it's been a difficult year. The Ossining Food Pantry is here to help residents of Ossining and Briarcliff Manor. We are a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping our neighbors in need. If you and your family are in need of food assistance, please visit with our friendly volunteers at Trinity Church in downtown Ossining (7 South Highland Avenue.) We distribute non-perishable food items on Thursday evenings (6:30-8:00PM) and Friday mornings (10:00AM-Noon.) We have a warm and welcoming atmosphere. **Please consider making an on-line donation to help Ossining Food Pantry feed our neighbors in need. A one-time or reoccurring monthly donation will be greatly appreciated. We are 100% volunteer organization. Virtually all of your donation will go toward the cost of food for the needy.

What: What do Sonny Sharrock, Benjamin Brandreth and Ida Foshay have in common? They are all on the Dale Cemetery Heritage Trail, a free, self-guided tour through Ossining’s historic Dale Cemetery.
