Dear OST Community,
Welcome back to another school year of growth, connection and learning together. I'm excited to share what's ahead for the OST Learning Institute.
Communities of Practice kick off on October 8th at the Moses Youth Center, and we can’t wait to see you there! Trevis, Melinda, and Matt will begin facilitating at 10:00 AM. Plan to arrive early to find parking, grab a light breakfast, and settle in—coffee and breakfast will be available starting at 9:30.
We are taking over The Foundry for the OST Symposium on November 18th - 20th
- workshop proposals are now being accepted and I'd love to hear your ideas. Mark your calendars, these are three days of fun, innovative and relevant workshops run by your OST peers.
This year we will be offering training in Program Design in partnership with the STEAM Initiative, and will continue to offer Social Emotional Learning opportunities for certifications in Youth Mental Health First Aid in partnership with Cambridge Public Health Department, and explore Equity and Access through Inclusive Practices in OST Programs in partnership with the Inclusion Initiative. Keep checking our event calendar for new training opportunities facilitated by familiar and new faces.
