Gannon University Occupational Therapy students need your help!
The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the cancellations of all Gannon OT Level II fieldwork experiences for 2020. As a result, next academic year we will have twice the need for placements for our students as we look to fill spots for two cohorts of students. Given this, we have an
extraordinary need
to locate
fieldwork educators willing to host a student (or two!) in 2021
.
If you have been a licensed OT for at least a year and are interested in being a fieldwork educator in 2021, please click on the email link below to contact our Academic Fieldwork Coordinator
Lindsay Church
.
Now more than ever, future OTs needs your help to fulfill educational requirements needed to begin their careers.
Benefits of hosting a student include:
- 12 PDUs per Level II session that can be used for NBCOT and licensure renewal.
- Free access to the Nash Library.
- Free use of the Gannon University Recreation and Wellness Center.
- Increased experience in providing student education.
- Opportunity to learn new and exciting developments in OT from the students themselves!
