It's Not Too Late
Your past does not determine your future. Sound too good to be true? The Bible says “As far as the east is from the west, that’s how far God has removed our sins.” God has given us an opportunity to be free from our past, and spend eternity with Him. What an incredible offer! No matter how good we try to be, no one is perfect. God made a plan to meet our need and pay the price through the blood of Jesus Christ – the only sinless one. By accepting that gift of salvation, we can be a “new creation”.
We are not our past, or our family’s dysfunctions, or our personality weaknesses! You may have to deal with consequences of past actions, but you can move forward as a child of God! The Bible says that “He who began a good work in you will continue to perform it.”
