Love

February is often thought of as the “month of love.” And many of us are fortunate to have people in our lives we love deeply. But today I want to challenge you to expand your circle a little farther and share some practical ways we can love our neighbors. It’s important for us to be able to show love to others and not expect to receive anything back. So this month, here are a few practical ideas to do just that: 1) actually stop and say hello 2) identity and meet a tangible need, like shoveling their driveway or bringing over a bag of salt for their front porch or even just some home baked cookies. 3) Pray for them by name and perhaps invite them to church. 4) Finally, you can invite them over and share a meal with them. I hope you are able to engage in some of these simple ways to love our neighbors better. Our communities will be blessed because of it!
