Vote Tuesday, August 2nd
August is a time of vacations, but it’s also the primary voting season. Several issues are on the ballot August 2nd, along with many run-offs to see who will be the final people running for various positions in November. Some people think that the primary vote is “not that important” but that is far from the truth! When individuals don’t vote, it allows a small minority to make decisions for the majority. Your vote really counts even more!
Voting is a spiritual responsibility. The Bible says to pray for those in authority over us, and that God can influence those in leadership. So it is incumbent on us to research those running for office, pray about the decision and then follow-through with a trip to the polls and actually marking the ballot! Our city, county, state and country is depending on YOU to make your voice heard! Plan now to make time in your schedule to vote this primary election.
