Spring Ahead:
OT's Open House and Day of Giving

Operation Transformation is having an Open House and Day of Giving on Thursday, March 24th. We are asking for people to help us “Spring Ahead” financially. Our goal is to raise $25,000, and we have $6,000 in matching funds that will be doubled! If you believe in the mission of Operation Transformation, please consider making a contribution and helping us take advantage of this very generous opportunity on March 24th! Feel free to stop by the Open House from 9:00-3:00 at 1904 Poplar St., Port Huron. Everyone is welcome to come meet the staff, learn more about OT’s major projects and enjoy some light refreshments. Donations can be made by calling 810-966-8660 or on our website, www.optrans.org, if you will not be attending in person.

Afghan Refugee Help Needed!
“I was a stranger and you welcomed me” Matt 25:35

There is a great opportunity in Port Huron and Marysville area. As you know, in the aftermath of the American pull out from Afghanistan, many families were displaced. Most of these had worked with the American government in some way. Thousands have come to the United

States, and have yet to be settled. These people are in the category of the stranger or alien whom Jesus spoke of. We have an opportunity to bless the “aliens” now among us in America. In partnership with Samaritans Purse, which is providing resources to equip churches, Operation Transformation is helping to promote the opportunity to bring some of these families to Port Huron and Marysville. A group of Christians working with Ampliore Recruiting - have secured two of the hardest things to get for refugees: good paying jobs suitable for poor English speakers and funding for housing. This is a major hurdle for them to become self-sufficient, contributing members of society.

We are looking for Christians, churches, and other non-profits in Port Huron/Marysville to partner in the process and be the hands and feet of Jesus by welcoming the families, helping them with practical needs (get settled, finding stores and services, finding furniture and clothing, getting driver’s licenses, etc.).
