Breakfast with God

Along with feeding your physical body, it’s necessary also to feed your spirit. Jesus made breakfast on the seashore for His disciples. This is when he challenged Peter to “Feed my sheep”. He demonstrated a spiritual truth through a natural event. Without physical nourishment, our bodies will weaken, and ultimately die. Without spiritual nourishment, the same happens to our spirit.

Read a portion of scripture that will encourage you, help give direction, share truth and fight any fear that is creeping into your life. By reading the word of God and letting His truth settle in our minds, we won’t easily fall prey to the lies, fears and discouragement of the enemy and daily life. Doing this first thing in the morning is vital to revitalizing our spirits and getting the day off right!
