Youth For Christ – East Michigan has been around for 60 years in our community! Working with students in junior and senior high, their goal is to support and encourage young people in their faith journey. They do this primarily in the schools as they provide oversight for CORE groups, also known as Friend-to-Friend groups. They are student-initiated times of gathering together to pray for their schools and friends, get a scriptural word of encouragement, and learn more about how to grow in their faith and share it with their friends. Youth For Christ is working in over 30 schools in the St. Clair, Sanilac and Macomb areas to provide adult leadership and support at the invitation of the students. Of course, they do much more. To learn more about Youth For Christ and their fall fundraiser, contact their office at 810-982-9551 or go to https://www.yfcem.org/.

Life In Christ Fellowship is hosting a Community Health Fair on Saturday, October 23 from 11 am-12:30pm. It will begin with a fall prevention class and include personalized fall risk assessments and health screenings. All services are free of charge, refreshments are provided. Please RSVP to the church at (810) 367-4248 to reserve your spot! The church is located at 950 Wadhams Road, St. Clair Twp.
