See You at the Pole
This week is the annual “See You at the Pole” Day of prayer for students. Since 1990, See You at the Pole is about students acknowledging the need for God’s help, and praying for their generation’s needs. The date is Wednesday, September 22nd. Check with your school for the specific time - or plan on half hour before school starts.
All around the globe, in every time zone, students will be gathering at their school flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. Whether students attend PUBLIC SCHOOL, PRIVATE SCHOOL, or HOME SCHOOL, they are encouraged to gather together and pray!
Parents and other adults need to be in on the action as well. Transportation needs to be provided to get students to school earlier, and support given by being present in the background. Adults need to be praying daily for our young people as they seek direction for their lives. “See You at the Pole” is a reminder for us all to lift life up this next generation in prayer!
