Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! What a wonderful time of year! We take a few moments and think about our blessings, and what we have to be thankful for. It seems most of the time we are stressed, busy, worried about the future, and trying to keep up with the fast pace of life. The national Thanksgiving holiday was first suggested by George Washington, declared to be celebrated the same day each year by Abraham Lincoln, and made the 4 th Thursday in November by Franklin Roosevelt. The Pilgrims came here in 1620 to find religious freedom, and established the Plymouth colony. Under brutal conditions, they learned how to survive from the Indians. If they can be thankful, with their limited resources, we can be too!

Faith Lutheran Church 3455 Stone, PH is presenting the musical THE ARRIVAL on Weds Nov 28 at 7 pm and Sat Dec 1 at 1 pm in the Sanctuary. Directed by Harry Krause, will feature Praise Band and Singers, Narration, Video, and harpist Laurel Fiederbush. Westminster Church of Port Huron , 2501 Stone Street in Port Huron will present “Christmas in the Country” featuring “The Chapelaires” from Mt.
