Enjoy the Weather

I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather as much as we are!  There are all kinds of innovative ways you can help organizations raise money by having fun outside. If you like to golf, there are many opportunities to join or form a foursome and golf 18 holes to benefit area groups like Youth For Christ East Michigan and Blue Water Area Rescue Mission this month, and SONS in August.

Another healthy way to help an organization financially is to pay a fee to run or walk a 5 K race. It gives you a motivation to work out and get in shape, and the satisfaction of completing the race, while helping those in need. Another way to raise money is to get pledges as you run or walk a certain distance. 

So get out there and exercise for a cause!

“ The Calvarymen Quartet ” Will be in concert at the  Lakeshore Presbyterian Church , 5235 Lakeshore Road, Fort Gratiot, MI on July 7, 2019 at 6 PM. This is the ‘Calvarymen’s’ final season after 64 years of Ministry. You won’t want to miss this final year of their Ministry. The is no admission and a Free Will Offering will be accepted for the group. For more information contact Tom Drake at 810-385-9037.
The next Christian Open Mic Night at  Westminster   Church of Port Huron,  will be held on July 9, 2019 at 6:30 PM. The church is located at 2501 Stone Street in Port Huron, MI. Those wishing to participate should be there early and register. Refreshments and Fellowship follow. For further information contact Phil Larson at 810-956-4672 or Tom Drake at 810-385-9037.
The next Men’s Breakfast at the  Lakeshore Presbyterian Church , 5235 Lakeshore Road, Fort Gratiot, MI., will be held 9 AM on July 13, 2019. There is no admission free, but donations will be accepted. This is a Breakfast is to support our sending Young People to Christian Camp during the Summer, and other Christian Activities. Oh yes, and all Ladies are invited. We will again have a guest speaker. For more information contact Tom Drake at 810-385-9037.
