Community Good Friday Service

The Blue Water Area Churches is holding a Good Friday Service open to the community on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. through Facebook Live on Operation Transformation’s Page, and on the radio on WPHM 1380AM and Hope FM 90.7 . The Good Friday Service will be an afternoon of worship and reflection, in appreciation for the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross.

Everyone is invited to watch this service. The service will include Scripture readings and congregational worship. It will also include a message by Rev. Bill Kinnan from Hillside Wesleyan Church, Elder Deborah Miller from Restoration Christian Community Church, and Rev. John Grenfell of St. Clair United Methodist Church. Operation Transformation will be starting a new Prayer Initiative. We believe in the power of prayer, and that God hears our prayers and answers them. The Bible says “The prayer of righteous people avail much”, because “God is an ever present help in time of need”!

Our country (and world) are going through a time of crisis due to the covid-19 virus. Our way to respond is to follow government guidelines, AND PRAY. We do believe in the power of prayer and ask for others to join us in this unprecedented time in our nation.

People who have prayer needs or requests of any kind are encouraged to submit them on the OT website – . The requests will be prayed for by the OT staff and prayer partners each week.

OT is also asking for others to pray for these requests. Those who would like to be Prayer Partners can sign up at the Operation Transformation website and view the requests that need prayer support. We are in this fight together! We do not want to live in fear…our hope is in the Lord.

Churches throughout our community are also coming together in prayer though conference calls. Feel free to join in. Find the list on Blue Water Area Churches' website.

Some churches around the county are ringing their bells at Noon and praying at that time. Feel free to also join in!
On Operation Transformation's website we keep a list of food giveaways going on around our community. Please use this resource if you need it, and share it with others as well.
BBC&M is taking crisis calls for Single Parents needing emergency support 7 days a week-  9-3pm  & returning calls within 24hrs - we are also providing online support groups via Zoom on Thursday’s with POPs  at 1 0:30-11:30am (see Facebook) and Single & Parenting class  at 12:30 -2pm on Facebook live--lastly, we are making referrals to online counselors for free counseling during the quarantines.
