We would like to commend the many churches and other organizations who sponsor Mobile Food Giveaways. The topic of hunger, especially in America, is hard to talk about. We don’t like to think people have to worry about getting a basic like food. But the reality is, many people are stretched so thin, that making choices about food is a norm for them. That’s why we are so proud of the churches that work with the Eastern Michigan Food Bank to bring food boxes to those in need. These churches pay for these products out of their own pockets. Many also offer other services like providing prayer, counseling, clothing, home goods, baby items, and hygiene products. They get nothing in return except for the knowledge that they are following Jesus’ command to “love God first and then love your neighbor”.  God bless those who think of others and do what they can to minister to people spirit, soul AND body.

We keep an updated list on our website of local food giveaways . If you hear of one being brought to the area please email the date, time and location to [email protected]. Also, please share our site so those who need it can find it easily.

A WEEKEND WITH GOD AND OTHER CHRISTIANS--MICHIGAN PILGRIMAGE
I, (Tami Cronce), said “The weekend is a little bit like heaven. As the
weekend went on, God was loving me through the Pilgrimage Team. God’s love came to me in tangible ways through music, worship, His Word and Christian fellowship.” Perhaps you are feeling unloved right now. Perhaps you’ve lost some of your joy in the Lord. A three day Pilgrimage renewal weekend (Thursday evening to Sunday) may fill your emptiness. The Pilgrimage is happening April 11-14 at our new site, Echo Grove Conference Center, 40 miles north of Detroit, near Leonard, Michigan. The cost is $200 (scholarships are available). For more information, contact Tami Cronce, (Outreach) 810-357-1588 or Pastor Roxie Davis 586-838-
9053 or go to our website at http://mppilgrimage.org . Click on the lower right side for Detroit.
