Never Forget!

Today is an infamous date in our country’s history. We know it simply as 9-11. It is the day our nation felt vulnerable to terrorists; our sense of security was shaken. Our emergency responders were decisive, overwhelmed and comforted as they worked during the crisis. Nobody rested until the job was done – which took weeks. Many of them gave their lives as the ultimate sacrifice.

As we reflect on that terrible day, I want all of us to remember and appreciate those who gave their lives in defense of our country. The Bible says to pray for those in authority, and for those who risk their lives for our security. Let’s take a brief moment to honor those who rescued us in that terrible hour. Then say a prayer for our emergency responders, service personnel and their families on a regular basis. It is because of them we enjoy the freedom and security we have in this country. Never forget! God bless America!
