TURA Reporting and Resources

Toxics Use Reports Due by July 1, 2019
Each Massachusetts facility subject to TURA is required to file an annual Toxics Use Report by July 1, 2019 for each TURA listed chemical used above reporting threshold during the previous calendar year.
For TURA, first reports for the use of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD) over the 100 pound PBT Threshold, are due by July 1,
2019. This category includes both CAS # 25637- 99-4 and 3194-55-6. First reports of this
category for TRI were due July 1, 2018.

TURA Reporting Workshops 2019
Reporting workshops, offered at no charge annually to assist TURA filers, have been scheduled for the following dates and locations in 2019. Each workshop will offer the same content.

Toxics Use Reduction Grants
TURI invites grant proposals for projects that reduce toxic chemical use in businesses and communities. Funds can be used to offset the cost of technology, safer products, workshops, and materials.
Submit your proposal by Friday, June 21, 2019.
Community grants can include those focused on outreach, training and technical assistance for facilities to improve emergency preparedness.
